GJH Holdings Sdn.Bhd. was incorporated under the name of Yeow Tuah & Sons Sdn. Bhd. on 14th April 1993 as a private limited company and subsequently changed to its present name on 7th September 1996.

Focusing on its strength in building construction and civil works, GJH has grown and established itself as a reputable and reliable building and civil works contractor. Over the years of sheer determination from the board of directors and its dedicated staffs, GJH eventually obtained certification from CIDB as a certified G7 contractor on 30th June 2003. This achievement has served as a catalyst for the company to strive for greater heights and goals.

GJH achieved another milestone on 15th September 2006 when it was awarded the prestigious ISO 9001: 2008 certification. This certification has propelled GJH to continuously improving its quality and standards of works delivered to its respectable Clients.

GJH has been advocating continuous improvement to its dedicated staffs and
workforce. It is leading by example by setting forth its next goal to obtain OHSAS 18001: 2007 certifications for Occupational Health and Safety Management recently.

To date, GJH has successfully completed projects worth RM 490 million to its satisfied Clients. The company’s ability to perform building construction and infrastructure works ranging from residential landed properties, walkup and high rise apartments, community and commercial buildings, and  infrastructure works is due to its committed staffs and the strong leadership qualities by the Board of Directors, led by Mr. Yeow Ho Lock.

In view of the challenges faced in the localized construction industry in Malacca and West Malaysia, GJH has gone a step further by pushing through boundaries and set up a branch office in Kuching, Sarawak in 2004. This move has open up unlimited job opportunities in East Malaysia and to date, its Kuching branch has contributed RM 104 million worth of project value to the company turnover.

Equipped with the experiences accumulated through the years as a main contractor, GJH has finally ventured into property development in 2001. With the support of a dedicated project and administration team and a clear vision from the Board of Directors, GJH has come of age to be the leading Main Contractor and Property Developer in Malacca by providing good quality and affordable ‘Dream Homes for Everyone’.

Our target markets are those families with a combined household income between RM 5,000 per month to RM 10,000 per month. Our founding directors strongly believe that property developers should not only look towards maximizing profit, but should also undertake our Corporate Social Responsibility through assisting our fellow Malaysian citizens in fulfilling their aspiration of owning good quality landed homes at affordable prices.

Core Business & Revenue Model

Our Group is principally an integrated property developer specialising in suburban residential townships which offer affordable landed residential homes for the middle income population. We are integrated in the sense that we also undertake the main construction activities of our property development projects. We have stayed true to our vision of providing affordable landed homes to the middle income population of Malaysia yet remain profitable through our economies of scale and competency in project and cost management. We do subscribe to the belief that a developer must undertake high end property development to be a profitable going concern.

Economies of Scale

When we launch a project, a single phase (which is sold and constructed together at the same time) comprises not less than 30 acres. This results in economies of scale in our development cost as our personnel are more productive and our construction cost is lower due to economies of scale associated with better pricing from our suppliers and-sub contractors as well as lower wastage.

Strong Project Management Team

Our founding shareholders and directors originated from the construction industry. With a strong foundation in construction, our founding directors built and nurtured a strong project management team which made it possible to achieve the following:
(i) maximize the cost savings arising from economies of scale ; and
(ii) deliver the completed houses of such large scale developments to our customers within the scheduled datelines.

Boldness in Adopting New Designs

We are constantly exploring with our architects on cost saving designs but yet remain fashionable and in good taste. As a result, we have set a new benchmark in Melaka in respect of affordable bungalows which are well designed and accepted by the market.
